1. Invite a Client

Firstly, navigate to the project plan within Coordinate where you'll see an example project. Within this project, you can invite a client, for instance, "Bob".

When you send this invitation, Bob will receive an email from Coordinate, which will be branded with your company's logo and colors. The email will contain links which directly lead him to the project page, hence, he will not need to create an account.

2. Client Interaction

Bob can directly access the project plans via the links provided in the email. If there is any assignment or chat message from you in the app through the discussion tab, Bob will receive a notification via email and can get back in immediately.

However, in some instances, you might want to set up a client login page on your website. This will allow clients to access it through the website in addition to the email, providing additional convenience.

3. Navigating to the Client Login Page

To do this, go to the settings, then navigate to the client login page. Here, you will see the settings for the client login page.

You'll find a URL for the client login page at the top. Copy this URL and open it in a new window to view what the client login page looks like.

4. Configuring the Client Login Page

The page is branded with your logo and colors and includes a client login text and a description, both of which are customizable by you.

When clients visit this page through the link you've provided, they can enter their email address to get a direct link to their project. If a non-client enters their email, you will immediately receive their information so you can follow up with them or add them to a project if necessary.

5. Customize the Title and Description

Back in Coordinate, you can customize the title and description of the client login page to suit your needs. For instance, you may want to change the title to "Our Client Portal". The description can be tailored to provide the necessary guidance to your clients such as "Please enter your email below" or "Contact [person] if you need access".

6. Refreshing the Page

After you've added your custom title and description, go back to the client login page and refresh it. The page should reflect your new title and description, maintaining the branding with your logo and colors.

7. Changing the Branding

If you wish to further customize the page, you can alter the color scheme. This can be easily done within the "Your logo and branding" settings. Here, you can change various color aspects of your branding. After saving the changes, go back to the client portal to see the updates reflected.
