A Proof-of-Concept (POC) helps your sales prospects test the viability of your product or service before buying. Our POC template is split into three phases:

  1. Planning and Kickoff - In this phase you'll identify the key stakeholders involved in the POC, confirm the scope and timeline for the POC, and determine the prospect's success criteria.
  2. Running the POC - In this phase, you'll run the actual Proof-of-Concept. In the template we've included two tasks: a Training to make sure that your customer knows how to use your product and an Interim Check-In to give your team an opportunity to answer any questions or uncover additional requirements. You may want to add or remove additional tasks depending on your products and services.
  3. Evaluate Results - In the final phase for the POC, you'll collect feedback and POC results from your prospects. You'll then hold a debrief meeting with all stakeholders to review the POC results and discuss next steps.
